Welcome to the World of Piano!

There is never a bad age to take up the piano. Six or seven is the average age at which kids start, and some begin even earlier. Individual piano lessons are quite common but rarely fun. However, there is much more to music than pressing a few keys! Having a fun factor is especially important when teaching piano to kids. With short attention spans and a lack of patience, children are easily bored with all the technicalities of music and rhythm, which is why I always approach kids differently than adult students.

Taught the right way, piano is fun, interesting and even thrilling. In addition, it is important to learn on the right equipment with all the functionality of a full size grand piano.

The Casio Privia used with my lessons is an amazing instrument with 88 weighted and graded keys and three pedals. Its tri-element AIF sound source embodies the very best of Casio waveform technology to take digital piano sound quality as close to that of an acoustic concert grand piano as possible. High-precision stereo sampling of a grand piano combines with a special filter for sounds that reverberate with amazing reality.
